Leah Terada
Current Corps de Ballet member at Pacific Northwest Ballet, Leah Terada grew up in Dallas, Texas where she split her extracurricular focus between ballet training and competitive Springboard diving. Leah studied dance at the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet, and Royal Danish Ballet. She has choreographed for the Professional Division dancers at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School as well as students at the School of American Ballet and Contemporary Ballet Dallas. Aside from Pacific Northwest Ballet’s regular season, Leah has recently danced in works presented by the Seattle International Dance Festival, Seattle Dance Collective, Tacoma Performing Arts Center, Kirkland Performance Center, and Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park. Not one to sit around, Leah most values the time when she's on the move: walking, running, biking, swimming, and dancing. Her interests in movement and creative language informs her work as a dancer and choreographer.
