Henry Wurtz is a photographer and director from the Bay Area, California. In 2019, after graduating college, he moved to Seattle and began working as a creative producer for a garden and home plumbing manufacturing company. In his off time, he began freelancing on music videos and dance films. Henry quickly learned how much he loved collaborating with dance artists to create short films, which provided an engaging and inspiring balance between performance and cameras.
Since 2019 Henry has collaborated with several local dance companies including Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Seattle Project, and Seattle Dance Collective. His film projects have been shown at the Portland Film Festival, Seattle Queer Film Festival, Paris Play Film Festival, Fuselage Dance Film Festival, Cinedans FEST ‘21, and the Opine Dance Film Festival.
